Winter Pea & Bean Braise

Enjoy the wholesome goodness of our Pea & Bean Braise, a hearty dish that combines the fresh flavours of peas and beans in a savoury braise.

Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium-low heat. Add the shallot and garlic, and season with salt. Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until soft. Stir in the wine and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until evaporated.

Stir in the chicken stock and bring to the boil. Stir in the green beans. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes. Stir in the peas and broad beans. Cover and cook for a further 2-3 minutes or until vegetables are tender crisp. Transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle with the shredded mint and lemon zest.
